Day 01: Cochin - Munnar
Our representative will receive you upon arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station. After pick-up, drive towards Munnar. (140 km – 5 Hours’ drive). The journey will take approx. 5 hrs (140 km) through the vibrant valley of cardamom hills and tea plantations of the western ghats. The atmospheric air here is rendered with the fragrance of tea and spices which may give heavenly bliss for a nature lover. Munnar is known as one of the most picturesque tourist destinations in Kerala. Situated at an altitude of 6000 ft, Munnar served as the favored summer retreat for the British rulers during the colonial era. The region boasts endless tea plantations, pristine valleys, towering mountains, a diverse array of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, and the refreshing scent of spice-laden cool air.
En-route visit Cheeyapara Waterfalls. Check in to the hotel at Munnar. Evening visit Tea Museum (10.00 Hrs to 16.00 Hrs, closed on Monday) and later for cultural programs at Punarjani. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar
After breakfast sightseeing Munnar. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala. Munnar is 1600 Meters above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India.
After breakfast, a Visit to Eravikulam National Park is worthwhile because of its natural habitat, Nilgiri Thar. One of the world’s rarest species of mountain goats is fast becoming extinct. Now the total number of Nilgiri Thar in Rajamala is estimated as 1317 only. The forest surrounding the Munnar is still rich with wildlife. The evergreen forest which surrounds Munnar is a delight for bird watchers also. Enjoy nature at your own pace.
(Eravikulam National Park, Munnar will be closed during February 2024 and March 2024 due to the calving season of Nilgiri Tahr)
After lunch, visit Mattupetty Dam which is nearly 13 km from Munnar town, It is a water storage concrete gravity dam situated at a height of 1700 m. The sprawling Kundala tea plantation and Kundala Lake are other attractions in its vicinity. After the visit to Mattupetty dam, just a short distance from there is the Mattupetty dairy farm – The Indo Swiss Livestock project. One can see over 100 varieties of high-yielding cattle here.
After Mattupetty, we drive to Echo Point. It is true that from here you can call your lover's name loudly and nature will repeat it. From here a drive to the Tea Museum (Closed on Monday).

Day 03: Cochin
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin Airport / Railway Station for an onward journey.
